1970 PONTIAC GTO JUDGE CONVERTIBLE

Lot # 670 (Sale Order: 102 of 207)

This 1970 GTO Judge Convertible is one of 162 produced. When purchased by the current owner it came equipped with the original born-with Ram Air III engine and 4-speed transmission. This car has been in a private collection for the last 17 years. It was built on November 5 1969 at the Baltimore Assembly Plant in Maryland. Upon completion this car was then shipped to King Pontiac Inc. in Gaithersburg MD for delivery to the first registered owner. The current owner commissioned this Judge Convertible to have a no-expense-spared frame-off restoration in 2007 after which it was on display at the Floyd Garrett Muscle Car Museum. The Judge was completely disassembled and stripped to bare metal. The frame was removed and the entire drivetrain was rebuilt. The body of this vehicle was gone over from front to back and the body fit is laser-straight and better than new. Once the body was prepared it was given a fresh coat of the correct Cardinal Red using the best modern DuPont base coat/clear coat. The red interior and white convertible top were carefully done as well. The frame was stripped and all chassis components were replaced and/or refinished in the correct original factory finishes. The engine was sent out and completely rebuilt. The 400 Ram Air III engine block was honed and new pistons rings and bearings installed. The crank was checked and lightly refinished. The Ram Air cylinder heads were checked and given a valve job along with new valves and valve springs. Everything was reassembled and the entire engine assembly was given a coat of the correct Pontiac engine paint. No stone was left unturned and the interior was completely redone with nothing but the best of correct materials. All instruments and gauges were checked for operation and repaired or replaced if necessary. All wire harnesses were replaced with new. The restoration on this GTO is 100% factory correct right down to the correct T-3 headlamps and original-style Firestone white-lettered tires.

2012 FERRARI 458 SPIDER

Lot # 682 (Sale Order: 108 of 207)

The Ferrari 458 Italia is an unbelievable exotic car in its own right but the Spider takes all of the superlatives of the original car and adds a retractable hardtop. With the top able to open and close in under 14 seconds at the push of a button there appear to be no drawbacks to it at all when compared to its fixed-roof sibling. Motivating this extremely low-mileage Italian exotic is a 4.5-liter V8 that produces an astounding 562hp at 9000 rpm which is good for a sprint to 60 in 3.3 seconds mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. The sound of the tri-tip exhaust system while the top is down is truly intoxicating and will leave any driver wanting to come back for more. As expected from a car of this caliber nearly all interior surfaces are covered in supple leather or suede with red stitching to accent. The original price of the Ferrari was over $318000 and included over $60000 in very sought-after options like the leather and Alcantara interior suspension lifting system carbon-fiber steering wheel with performance controls navigation automatic climate control and power heated seats with driver memory. This Ferrari was purchased new. Included are all of the original factory manuals Ferrari service records and of course the clean CARFAX report. 1550 actual miles.
